A project in the service of photography

Initiated by the Hauts-de-France Region, in collaboration with the Rencontres d’Arles festival, the Institut pour la photographie is a forum for exchange and research that is open to all.

Photography as an individual and collective experience forms the core of the Institut’s activities. Its program is founded on the synergy and interactions between five main themes: conservation, distribution, transmission, support for research and creation, and publishing.
